Bellevue's 24 Term Learning Framework

In order to develop our students into the ones we have described in our school vision and to meet the requirements of the New Zealand Revised Curriculum, the teaching staff have devised the 24 Term Plan. This covers all the years that the students are here at Bellevue, with our Vision being the overall driver and the New Zealand Curriculum Principles underpinning all the teaching decisions that we make. The focus questions in each term, for each year will be the driving force behind the learning that may take place in some or all areas of the curriculum during that term. The topics underneath are suggested contexts that teachers may or may not use. At times Syndicates or teachers may identify a special need within their classes and carry out a unit of learning that may not be linked to the particular focus for that term.
