Hope for Haiti
Room 11 ran a charity concert for the children of Haiti. They had been learning about how they could make a difference in the world. They raised nearly $1400, which they donated to Save the Children. Room 13 helped out by raising part of the money by running a BBQ.

Paparangi School came to Bellevue School for their Kapahaka Group to perform for us and for our Kapahaka Group (Te Puawai Amua) to perform for them.

Dads Reading to Front Block
Dads have been invited to come and read to us, to help increase positive attitudes and achievment levels in reading. During their visit they tell us about their job and the reading that they need to do in their work. After this they read us one of their favourite books, modelling the importance and interest in reading. It is aimed particularly at our boys, but is also beneficial to our girls.
Year 6 Indoor Netball
Our Year 6 indoor netball team played at Wellington Indoor Sports in Newtown.
Te Wiki o te Reo Maori
During our Maori language week all children were put in mixed age groups and rotated around 6 different activities.
