I started teaching at Bellevue at the beginning of this year. Before Bellevue I lived and taught in London for almost four years and in Auckland for a couple before that. I am loving being back in NZ and living in Wellington. I am passionate about visual arts, play-based learning and my free time is spent best when I'm at home in the Coromandel on the farm, beach or the boat.
Hub 1 Teacher - Room 3
I am the whānau teacher in Room 3 Hub 1. It is exciting to be teaching here at Bellevue school this year. In 2011, I was a student teacher at this school and I had the most amazing time! Bellevue School holds a very special place in my heart. I am originally from Wanganui and I have been living in Wellington for 10 years. I worked at Te Aro School from 2013- 2018, teaching in years 0-1 and 1-2 classes. I took 9 months leave in 2016 in order to travel around Europe and eventually settle and teach in London! I had such an incredible journey. I taught a year 1 class in South West London and I was released twice a week to take the year 2s and reception classes for singing. I am very passionate about music and singing in the classroom! An interesting fact about me… I have an identical twin sister who is also a teacher! We are very alike and we might find a way to trick you one day!
